Lexus once again sets the bar high for electrified vehicle sales in Canada
January 21 2022,

Lexus had an outstanding year in 2021, especially with its hybrid vehicles. The luxury automaker sold 6,574 units of its hybrid vehicles last year, an increase of 26.5% compared to the previous year.
Lexus offers a full range of hybrid luxury vehicles including hybrid versions of the Lexus ES luxury sedan, Lexus LS Premium sedan, and popular hybrid versions of its Lexus RX utility vehicle. Lexus also offers the hybrid Lexus UX, and this year it is bringing the all-new generation of the Lexus NX to the market which features a hybrid engine as well as an all-new plug-in hybrid powertrain.
Lexus should therefore have no difficulty maintaining the success of its electrified vehicles next year. In 2021, two Lexus hybrid vehicles stood out, the Lexus UX Hybrid with 3,282 units sold, saw its sales increase by 32%. Sales of the popular Lexus RX Hybrid increased by 63.1% with 1,805 units sold.
