August 30 2019, Lexus Laval
Lexus has announced plans to unveil a new electric vehicle as a concept at the Tokyo Motor Show in October. Based on the LF-SA concept introduced in 2015, Lexus' new electrified prototype will be powered by a fully electric engine.
According to Lexus CEO Koji Sato, the electric vehicle will feature a high, boxy and hatchback style. It will also be equipped with the Lexus spindle grille. It will be interesting to see how the final style will come out, but we cannot wait!
According to Sato, the style of the concept will represent a new visual signature for Lexus that could later be found on several other models.
The electrified concept is part of Lexus' new strategy to electrify its entire range with plug-in electric, hybrid or hybrid models by 2025. For more information, contact us today at Lexus Laval!
