The 2022 Lexus NX in Details
January 20 2022,
The Lexus NX has been completely renewed for 2022 and now features the latest infotainment and powertrain technologies
Sophisticated new powertrains
The 2022 Lexus NX is available with four different powertrains, including two hybrids. The entry-level model, the NX 250, retains the services of a 2.5L four-cylinder unit that produces 203 horsepower. For more power, the NX 350 is equipped with a new 2.4L turbocharged engine that produces 275 horsepower. If you want greater fuel economy, the NX 350h features a 2.5L engine and two electric motors located on the rear axle to deliver a combined 239 horsepower and an average fuel economy of 6.0L / 100 km. To get the maximum performance and economy the NX has to offer, you'll have to look to the all-new NX 450h+, which is Lexus' first plug-in hybrid model. This version uses the same components as the NX 350h but adds a larger battery that allows you to drive up to 61 kilometers without using a drop of gas, and boosts available power to 302 horsepower. This model has a fuel consumption equivalent to only 2.8Le / 100 km and can be charged in only 2.5 hours on a 240-volt outlet.
A new infotainment system
The all-new 2022 NX is the first model to receive the next generation of Lexus' infotainment system. This new multimedia system incorporates Intelligent Assistant, which allows you to control many functions by voice in a more natural way than in the past. Also, a new driver profile feature allows you to digitally save your multimedia system preferences and connect to your profile from another Lexus vehicle equipped with this infotainment system, thus making your life easier if you own more than one Lexus vehicle by forgoing the need to reprogram your favorite radio stations and climate control settings, for example.
