What hybrid vehicles will Lexus have in 2023?
September 27 2022,
The king of hybrids in the industry is Toyota. Lexus, as the other luxury brand, has of course benefited from this expertise over the years, so much so that it offers a range that counts on several hybrid variants.
In fact, how many hybrid models does Lexus offer in 2023? Let's take a look at the lineup together to find out.
ES 350h
The ES sedan has been around for a long time at Lexus, and it seems like it's always been available in a hybrid form. The ES 300h model offers a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder and 215 horsepower.
LC
The LC has two personalities. One focused on pure performance with a 5.0-liter V8 and 471 horsepower, and the LC 500h variant is designed for fuel efficiency with a 3.5-liter V6 that's partially electrified for a total capacity of 354 horsepower.
LS
The line's flagship sedan, the LS, follows the same path and features as the LC 500h. The same philosophy in even more opulent luxury and comfort.
NX
The NX SUV has been redesigned for 2022 and two hybrid solutions are offered. The traditional 350h model with a 240-horsepower 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine. Then there's the plug-in hybrid avenue with the 450h+, which has a more powerful electric motor for greater capacity and electric range (304 horsepower and 61 kilometers).
RX
The RX has been at the forefront of hybrid SUVs throughout the industry and the new generation coming in 2023 offers three avenues. Three!
The RX 350h model, equipped with a 2.5-liter, 246-horsepower 4-cylinder engine. An RX 500h Performance version that marries capability and hybridity with a 2.4-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder and electric motors pushing power to 367 horsepower.
Then, following on from the NX 450h+ model, the RX 450h+ will offer electric range. Range: 61 kilometers
No other luxury automaker offers such a wide and varied selection of hybrids. A visit to your local Lexus dealer is a must.
